While we select our vintage materials very carefully, sometimes there may be a few small marks – or in the case of woven or embroidered fabrics, a little fraying or loose threads here and there. This is the nature of working with vintage materials and is to be expected – but it doesn’t diminish their beauty or utility. Our products are robust and user-tested to make sure they function as expected.

How to care for your bag/purse

When  not in use, we recommend storing your bag in the calico bag provided. This should help keep the bag dust-free and in the best possible condition.

Try to keep your bag dry (as silk really doesn’t like getting wet) and store out of direct sunlight (as this can cause fading). We also do not recommend washing or dry cleaning our bags, as this can cause irreversible damage. But with a little care, your bag should give you years of pleasure.
